Firearms Permits
Apply online for Firearms Purchaser Identification Cards, pistol purchase permits, and concealed carry permits. Use the Oradell ORI number exactly as shown below.
Start with the state portal.
FPIC cards and handgun purchase permits are handled through the New Jersey online firearms application system. Applicants receive automated email updates throughout the process.
Apply with Oradell's ORI.
- 01 Visit the NJ Portal at njportal.com/NJSP/FARS.
- 02 Enter the Borough of Oradell ORI number: NJ0024400.
- 03 Complete the online application with email addresses for two reputable references who have known you for at least two years.
Online applications only.
Handwritten forms are no longer accepted for FPIC cards or pistol purchase permits.
18+ rifles/shotguns with FPIC 21+ handgun purchase permits.
Concealed carry applications are online.
When qualifying with your handgun, your instructor must complete the required form. Submit that form electronically with the online concealed carry application.
Apply through the concealed carry portal.
Use the same Oradell ORI number, NJ0024400, when completing the application.
Bring payment to the Borough.
Cash or check made payable to the Borough of Oradell in the amount of $150.00 is required before permit approval.
