* On Sept. 4 at 11:39 p.m., Officers Michael Bartlett conducted a motor vehicle stop on Herbert Street and Merritt Drive. During the investigation, police revealed that the driver, Frank Gentile, 20, of Dumont, was in possession of hypodermic needles. According to police, Gentile was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued motor vehicle summonses for improper safety glass, hazardous tire conditions and unsafe vehicle due to a shattered windshield. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Gentile was processed and released, pending a court date.
* On Sept. 9 at 12:51 a.m., Officer Michael Bartlett conducted a motor vehicle stop on First Street. During the investigation, police revealed that the driver, Amy Burns, 22, of Closter, had an outstanding warrant out of Clifton for $500. According to police, Burns was arrested, posted bail and was released pending a court date. Burns was also issued motor vehicle summonses for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance, police said
